Ryan and Laurin’s story began in college — with a little help from Bumble! What started as a swipe turned into something truly special. They quickly discovered how much they had in common, from shared values to a love of laughter, and officially started dating in August 2020.

A funny twist of fate: both Ryan and Laurin attended Stephen F. Austin State University for their freshman year — just not at the same time! Even so, they both hold fond memories of the piney woods of East Texas, making it feel like their paths were always meant to cross eventually.

Fast forward to December 2024, during a Christmas vacation in Vail, Colorado — a snowy winter wonderland where Ryan completely surprised Laurin with a proposal. The moment became even more special when some of their loved ones were able to join in the celebration afterward.

Now, surrounded by the people they love most, Ryan and Laurin can’t wait to start their next adventure as husband and wife!
